Summary:

Klipboard CRM simplified team collaboration for one of our customers who had a team spread out over several cities and needed remote access to a CRM system 24X7.

The Problem:

Zac the General Manager of a mid-sized insurance broking firm was constantly under time pressure to manage the sharing of leads data among his current staff who were spread out over six cities in two different countries and various time zones. At times they would be away on leave which meant open leads had to still be managed by someone else within the team and then reassigned upon their return. Using their current CRM system was extremely cumbersome. The administration time that it sucked up for something this simple was very frustrating for Zac. Sometimes when multiple staff went on leave during holiday seasons like Christmas – it was a highly stressful time for him and their sales coordinator to move these leads around and reassign them at the end of their leave period. It was coming around holiday season time again and stress levels were starting to rise.

The Solution:

Zac was recommended Klipboard CRM by a friend who ran his own small business. Using Klipboard not only simplified the entire sales process but also made collaboration and lead sharing a breeze. Zac setup Pipeline Boards for each of their sales staff. Then he got the sales coordinator to import all their current leads in each of these boards from an Excel file exported out of their existing CRM system. This was a fairly straightforward process. Next, each sales person was granted access to their board by Zac. It was as simple as clicking a button and adding names to the board. Within minutes all access levels were setup. Next, he setup a team meeting and showed the team how to access Klipboard and got them to commit to the online training videos which were available on the Klipboard website. The simplicity of the system meant within just an hour or so of self paced training, each team member was able to start using the system instantly. The onboarding was quick and easy as well with an automatic invite going out to people who needed access to Klipboard CRM.

The Result:

Zac was able to completely delegate the management of lead sharing down to the team. Klipboard CRM enabled each team member to add one or more members to their board before they went on leave and were able to go through a handover meeting between themselves. Upon their return they could easily discontinue access to the board for their colleagues who were backfilling them and in turn also return the favour by taking on leads from other colleagues who needed respite. Zac was amazed that he was able to cut down the entire time for managing this process which was so stressful down to zero just by bringing in Klipboard CRM. It also was a pleasant surprise how quickly the team adapted to the new system as it was extremely simple to implement and easy to use
